Good printer with a lot of features Good printer with a lot of features. money saving printer if you don't need to color print freq. Stable Wifi wakeup after sleep. *update: it stopped working on its own. When i plug in it makes a starting sound, then white screen comes on for few seconds and turns off. what a ripoff. I did not expect this from brother. no reply from brother so far to honor the warranty.
Great printer for the money Great printer for the money. One issue is it will not scan to my laptop unless I unplug my internet cable. Spent time with their tech support people but they could not resolve the issue. The good news is it scans fine to my laptop as long as I use the laptop wirelessly.
One Star Using it for few months now and it started to print all black pages.

This machine works for a short period of time. ... This machine works for a short period of time. Then the feeder tray stops working completely. Totally unusable after a month. Avoid at all costs.

Paper Jams I do 60 church bulletins every week and this is all we do with this printer. We have to stay close to take care of the many paper jams. It rarely does all 60 without a problem. We called Brother about the jamming problem and they told us this printer can only handle 20lb paper. The bulletin paper is slightly heavier than copy paper. The customer should be told when a printer is limited to certain paper weight.
One Star it stopped working. it cannot even start
False Low Toner Messages and Then Block You From Printing -- Outrageous For all Brother Printers they send you endless Low Toner messages -- weeks or more in advance -- trying to persuade you to change the toner cartridge when there is NO NEED to do so. Then if you want to wait to change it when the printed paper shows that the toner is running low -- not hard to see! -- they may lock you out and prevent you from printing.
