staff does not return messages or phone calls whether for updates on hiring/applicants/interviews or general...which is a complete showing of not having customer service skills, it is rude and unprofessional shame on you rated one star to be able to leave a review i'd give negative stars if possible it's not that hard to return messages!!!!!!!!!!!
Love this gym. Staff are friendly at the door; Kids club is on point for my 3 & 8 year olds. Dry and Wet sauna is amazing. I've been using a personal trainer called Emmanuel since January and my results are amazing. He has brought me along so much, Top man. I highly recommend him and his boss Heath at personal training to get you motivated and into shape.
My husband and I decided to join the gym as we are both seniors and we needed to work on our overall body strength. After joining we were guided to meet with a personal trainer and we were assigned a trainer named Emmanuel Class. We have been so extremely happy. First, if you are a senior he is your guy. Great gym, just inconvenient location for us. The amenities are solid. The gym is clean and they maintenance equipment as quickly as possible- yes there are still supply chain issues with gym parts and they have to get the manufacturer parts for liability reasons. Sign up was easy and so was canceling. We could only make it on the weekends due to traffic. The equipment is well spaced. The employees are friendly and accommodating. I have been coming to this gym for over a year and have always had a pleasant experience up until recently. Although it is a great added benefit for the child care with your membership I feel as though the child care department has been severely understaffed or poorly staffed as of the last few months. 7 months after canceling my membership, I just learned that they been pulling money from my bank account for all these month every month. Reason for the error: They changed to a "new system" which defaulted to reinstating old memberships. What ? Sounds shady and criminal to me. Is anyone in upper management correcting this , or just waiting until people contact them? Wonder how many dozens /hundreds of people are falling victim to this criminal business practice? The facility is nice and clean but they are unscrupulous and play extraordinarily loud music so that guests can't hear their own audio choices. I paid membership dues for a year on a month to month basis but rarely used the club because on about 75% of my visits the staff had unpleasant music blasting. I've been a member here for several years now. This gym is always a mess. I've spoken with management about it several times and the promise is that "we will" but they never do. If there were an LA fitness or EOS up here, I certainly wouldn't continue my membership here.
I have been a gym rat my entire life and joined Mountainside in the spring. Love working out with Personal Trainer Tomas. He is very motivating and pushes me WAY more than I would ever push myself. Tomas also listens to my wants/needs (due to various aches and pains) & was willing to train out-side for 2 months due to CV concerns.
