Way to expensive super sad because it's a nice place and the people there are nice but they don't care about people getting healthy they just care about the money. You literally have you pay to use one of their lockers! You pay for everything besides a little dinky water bottle and a towel for wipe your sweat off. Never going to go back to this place again.

Mountainside Fitness in Surprise is the nicest Gym in the Surprise area and they employ the best trainer in the State maybe even the entire world Troy Sienkiewicz! Best Massage ever! Thank you Kayla. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!. The hot hot treatment was awesome and Kayla knows what she is doing. Very serene environment. She put me at ease. I walked out feeling brand new.

It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. It's always clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I get personal training twice a week with Mac and he is absolutely amazing. I've struggled with getting back into it and my own personal issues and he's been nothing but understanding. He's tailored his workouts to fit what I want to achieve and never questions it. "You only have 1 body! Might as well make it good" It honestly took me awhile to jump on board getting a gym membership. I'm so glad I made the leap and checked this place out as intimidated I was being in a new gym with new people. Honestly, everyone was so nice when i first walked in with my husband and my toddler. Besides all the great classes, high tech machines and amenities, the staff is super friendly and my children LOVE the kids place. I think that's what sets this gym a part from all the rest. I mean, my kids beg every day to go. They're my motivation when I don't want to workout;) The best part about the gym however, is how the manager listens when you make a request or have any issue. Great gym! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the personal trainers and supportive and inspiring. Regardless of whether you're more into cardio or weight lifting, this gym has it all. You can train on your own time or you can attend daily group exercises like spin class, yoga, pilates, and more! They have a steam room in the locker rooms, a tanning salon, a massage parlor, a giant movie area for when you just want to relax, and a cafe/smoothie bar for a pre or post workout shake! I'm used to the high quality, cleanliness and cutting-edge equipment of other Mountainside gyms. This gym is a step behind. Walking in, you feel as though you stepped into a gym that hasn't been updated in decades. The childcare looks worn, dirty and has a funk to it. The entire gym has a haze to the air and the equipment itself looks old with cracks in some of the padding. Disappointed overall.

I was very nervous to go here being pretty much the only gym in surprise and being worried about it being to crowded. But after going for a few months now I love it! So glad I decided to join. Mondays are always crazy busy but it's still manageable.
