Train Kim Shuey to be a professional, to not tell the customer she talks too much, and to not hang up on the customer. This company gave me the worst business transaction experience EVER. Not only would I not recommend it, I would tell everyone I know to stay away from it.

April did a great job once assigned to the loan. My original LO quoted a rate that you did not honor. As a matter of fact, he provided a documented rate lock that you did not honor. This is completely unacceptable and does not comply with the rules that protect consumers. I plan to report all of the documentation in this regard. I asked for concessions to split the difference from what I was originally quoted and did not receive it. Communication was poor throughout the process.

We were assured that we could meet a closing deadline when we inquired about using FMD. April was responsive and available. That quickly changed once we locked in a rate. As others have commented, the communication and responsiveness quickly changed. April did not take accountability for miscommunications and was quick to point the finger, usually when she was the one providing the needed information at the 11th hour. I’ve asked for escalation and am not surprised at the lack of responsiveness.

April lacks heavily in customer service, follow up, availability, providing direction, and accountability. I had multiple issues that arose during my loan process that were on FMD loans side. Instead of April finding a resolution she is quick to point fingers and place blame on others. When issues arise April becomes defensive, interrupts you while your speaking and has no regard for the customer. I had the worst experience with Fmd Loans because of April.

Jake was very responsive and personable - until he had earned my business. After I declined all other offers I had from other lenders, Jake disappeared. From then on Jake never responded to any emails when concerns arose (he either ignored them completely or simply had someone else respond separately). The entire focus of the FMS team was simply to package up my loan to sell it. And it showed. Poor communication, sloppiness, and limited VA loan knowledge characterized my FMS experience.
