Ok, so I wouldn't say they're the best vet because you always get a different vet each time you go in but not having to make an appointment is nice and the prices are very good.

Unfortunately we had to put my dog, Mr. Buggles, to sleep two weeks ago. It was an emergency situation. My husband and I were quite worried and when I called the emergency number the doctor told me he was on his way there and would be there in approx. 5-10 minutes. We arrived around 15 minutes later. The girl that answered the door to let us in was extremely nice and she could see how nervous we were. The doctor that night was great. We first became clients in 2007 after hearing so many good things about them and acquiring an Australian Shepherd puppy. I liked the happy attitude and abundance of tips that the vet had for raising a herding breed puppy. The entire staff fussed over her so she would associate the vet = a place where you are the star! For people who know this breed, you know that they can be very wary of strangers, so that was very important. In 2009 we got a second Australian Shepherd puppy. Moved back to Naperville area from Ohio recently. I was not surprised to be treated the same as when I lived here 2 yrs ago. I set up a appt. online to have my dogs shots updated and was greated with a emails from Leslie in a more than timely fashion as well as a follow up email. My dog however became sick and I had to get her in their on a Sat. afternoon before closing. The girl on the phone even asked the doctor if she would stay late and she said yes. I feel compelled to do something I NEVER EVER do: Grant amnesty. I've been taking my dogs and cat there for the last 10 yrs and they are always very friendly with my pets and I feel like the doctors always do the best they can. They really do a good job keeping up with the latest advancements in the profession. I wouldn't trust my dogs or cat with anyone else. ok haters here's the truth about this place! The front desk girls are the best!!!! Maybe the other people writing reviews on here were having a bad day before they came in to Naperville Animal Hospital, but let me tell you these ladies work their "tails" off!!! Tons of people and their pets come through the doors daily and these girls run around getting the charts, answering the phone, helping YOU with YOUR pet, cleaning up after YOUR pet, getting info for YOU from the vet, help check YOU out and YOU are complaining about... read more

We have had a relationship with NAH for three years or so. We have seen a few good Drs leave and some come in, and it's ok. I am very particular on who we see Dr Mortenson who is always our first choice she is absolutely awesome and Dr Timmons is great too. Since we have 2 boxers and a bulldog and they all have separate issues we are always there. We have each of them on the plan and it has literally saved us thousands of dollars. I came to NAH because my wife's cat passed away suddenly at age 8. I needed someplace to go with her, because she needed answers as to why. The staff here was very helpful. The Doctor came in and talked to us and was very personable and knowledgeable. He made us feel more comfortable, and seemed to grieve a little with us. They then gave us time to say goodbye and didn't hurry us at all. I'm very grateful for there grace in our time of need.
