Should be regulated like a Utility Company. Has a Innate Conflict of Interest. Astronomical Cost. Breach of Your Confidential Information. Has Conflict of Interest ----It Installs Energy-Wasting Infrastructure and Appliances with Low Consumer Ratings. Customer Service Disappears During Outage or Crisis. There are 4 main issues with this company. 1) Nationwide utility bill is 3-4x larger than I paid for the same-sized unit in other areas. 2) Nationwide shares information about your account with your Property Management. Today, I called NAtionwide and was helped by Whittney. She answered my questions about my bill and was very professional. Please keep her on! God bless you!

Awful utilities provider. I have a 2 bedroom apartment, where I am barely even at most of the time. The bill for is consistently over $200 for no apparent reason. My parents have a 5000 square foot house and never pay more than $200 total on their utilites. This company is a third party scam. Buying electricity and water and marking it up for the consumer. What an unnecessary middle-man. I will forever tell me friends and family to stay away from any establishment that uses NEP as their utilites provider.

Business response:

Mr. *******, Nationwide Energy Partners (“NEP”) values and appreciates resident feedback regarding the quality of the services we provide on behalf of our partner property owners (i.e. our “customer(s)”). As a condition of service with our customers, NEP is obligated to always match or charge less than the given rate of the local host utility providers for both residential electricity and water usage. In other words, the rate that is applied to a resident’s water and electric usage should never be higher than that of the hos... read more

My experience with Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) has been nothing but negative. How is it possible to be paying in excess of $500 for electric when living in an apartment unit that is less than 1200 square foot while the heat is set at 64 or below. Our December bill somehow was in excess of $350 despite not having heat for an entire week. The apartment was inhabitable for a week and we still paid an outrageous amount for electric. This company gauges rates and does nothing to help the customer. Never will I ever live at a... read more

My experience so far with this company is a nightmare. We moved in to our new apartment 3 months ago. The very first bill was just a little over $70 even though I was not in the apartment at all. I was out of the country for a month and half. I noticed it was a little too much for not using anything but I understand there is a fee to pay to keep the service going. However, the next bills have been extremely high, and I do not understand why, when there is only 2 people living in the apartment and we both work full time jobs,... read more

We started service in June and the bill for that month was a little high but we thought it would get better. However, the next two months the bills were ridiculously high. I have a two bedroom apartment and I have never paid bills this high. Someone needs to do something about this company. They are ripping us off!

Business response:

I am very sorry you feel this way. I am unable to locate an account in your name, but any member of our Resident Support team would be happy to speak with you directly to help you better understand your billing. Please keep in mind that NEP provides unified billing, sometimes for 4 or more services for the residents we serve on behalf of your community. We look forward to assisting you!

Super professional and efficient. I was thrilled with the answer I received when I inquired as to why I was being charged a deposit. Not only did she explain, the deposit was easily waived.

Business response:

Thank you so much for taking the time to send us your feedback! We appreciate it. So glad our team made sure you had a great experience!
