Completely unreliable service. They will cut power to your entire neighborhood on a 90 degree day. They will cut your power at 2 am on a clear crisp 50 degree night. You get hung up on multiple times before anyone will answer your call - and good luck calling after 6 pm. If you do get ahold of someone, they are absolutely useless and tell you it should be back on within 4 hours. The website will say there's no outages when there are hours-long outages. They overcharge you. There's no rhyme or reason for the way this company ... read more

This company charges extreme amounts each month for electricity. There is no way a 2 bedroom apartment is 300 dollars a month for electric. And they are weaseling their way into more apartment complexes. When prices are at their highest for everything NEP is charging most people in my complex 400 a month for electric. Since when has electricity ever been that high. Its disgusting. My wife and I are trying our best to get away from NEP for good so we do not have to deal with the gouging anymore.

Ridiculous charges even when I had plastic on windows and sliding door. Kept heat to 66 and AC to 77 and bills were still so high. And mine always showed way above use for electric compared to others but it was just me and I was gone 7-7 for work. I keep lights off and dont do that much laundry and a shower a day. Cannot for the life of me figure out this scam.

Not even worth 1 star. NEP is absolutely ridiculous and is a complete scam. What's great about these insanely marked up bills is even with (2) power outages in the month of February; one being about 2.5 hrs and the other pretty close to 5 hours - my **** won't be any less and reflect the significant lower usage. They are not a utility. They do not supply electricity. They are just submetering and marking up the cost because they can. Because the great ************* allows it. Do not move into any community that uses NEP unde... read more

Business response:

Nationwide Energy Partners ("NEP") genuinely values and appreciates resident feedback. Thank you, ****, for the opportunity to respond to your concerns. First, NEP is a legitimate, trusted business providing valuable services to both our clients and the communities we serve and to suggest otherwise is simply untrue. As your community's agent, NEP does not "**** up" bills. For all residents at the communities we serve, the electric charge shown on the monthly statement is calculated by taking the amount of electricity used in... read more

Nationwide energy partners is a horrible company. It seems like theyre not even governed under the same codes and policies as Aep. On two occasions my electricity was cut off in error. The first time this happened I called customer service and this issue was fixed within a matter of an hour each or two. The second time this happened was on November 17, 2021 I called **************** around 6 oclock and spoke with a customer service agent. I checked on a payment that was made by community action she verified the payment which... read more

This company is awful. In addition to extremely high prices, Im now in my second major outage across this entire LC community in just a few months. They have ZERO ways of reliably reporting an outage, not even an online form. How is this possible in 2021? You can report and track outages online with almost every power company, and this company doesnt even have a dedicated phone line for 24/7 support. During the first outage, I ended up having to call another LC complexs emergency maintenance and have them put in a ticket aft... read more

Inflates utility rates to apartment tenants who have no other utility option. Offers no explanation for exceptionally high utility rates. Such a large scale operation needs oversight.

I am a 25 year old woman that lives by myself in this complex and my electric from the months of august to now (March) has exceeded $270+ a month. I travel more than 2 weeks out of the month so i normally cut everything completely off fri. My fuse box except my refrigerator and my heat/AC in which i set at 70 while I’m gone. DO NOT MOVE HERE. My rent is 911 + 270 totaling $1181 for a 700sq ft ONE bedroom. Totally unacceptable. The apartments itself are nice but the electric alone is enough for me to tell you not to rent here... read more
