If I could give 0 stars I would. I moved to a new town that uses nationwide energy partners and never ever have I had an electric bill this high. I work 6 days a week. Dont use lights because I use battery powered. Leave my thermostat between ***** and for 1 person Im charged almost $300 a month. For a 1 bedroom 1 bath under 600sq feet apartment. This company is a scam and I would never recommend.

I am very upset and confused and what a scam. I work 6 days a week and is gone 11 hours a day. I do not use electricity like that, because i am afraid of the continuous rip off that is happening. The world is sad and the way this company is pimping people out of there money, shame on you, and i could not as a person whom if i where the owner of this company I would not do this to people. Sometimes i feel like i am paying extra for those who skip out on paying there bills. Its very sad and I am over this wicked so called busi... read more

Not sure how this company has a A+ rating because its horrible the ridiculous prices theyre charging us for community charges outrageous for something that has nothingto do with renters. And the only reason were getting charged some of these common community charges is because the apartment complex reports it to the electric company And some of these things we dont even have the report to the company of Electric so when you really needs to look into this company the Management property people

Business response:

Hi *****,Thank you for your review and for sharing your concerns. We understand that common area usage charges can be frustrating and appreciate the opportunity to clarify how these charges work.Common area usage charges cover the electric and/or water costs for shared-use areas in your community. Your property has chosen to divide these costs equally among all residents.NEP bills common area usage on behalf of your property. We do not determine the allocation of these charges. We recommend contacting your property managemen... read more

Not sure how this company has an A+ with the bbb when they simply rip people off that live in appartments on there electric & water bills.I think a class action lawsuit should be filed.

I can't understand the usage I am charge for. I am gone 10 to 11 hours every day, don't run air conditioning during the summer and live alone. My gas, water and electric combined in a 2600 Sq foot house was less than I am paying for a 1000 Sq ft apartment.

I was not informed my property was apart of a class action lawsuit involving NEP. The suit is caused from raising rates, because they own the property we rent from. My bill is $225+ for an apartment. We are gone 8+ hours a day. Wish we could go back to AEP, as it was considerably less for the same square footage. I will never EVER live anywhere that has NEP again. Paying $59 extra for fixed rates as if they aren't up charging the usage as is!

They are a scam. It should be illegal that they are even operating. Theres no way a one bedroom apartments energy bill would be $306. They need investigated!!!!!!!!

Business response:

Hello ******, We sincerely value your experience as a resident of a Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) partner community. We want to take a moment to address your review and clear up any misunderstandings. First, any implication that NEP overcharges by billing at a rate greater than the host utilitys all-in residential rate or is in any way a scam is factually incorrect. NEP never charges at a rate exceeding the local utilitys rate for the same usage. You can verify your rate for yourself by visiting the **********************... read more
