Everyone lies; no confirmed discharged date. They provide medications and don't provide them to the Walgreens on record. DO NOT RECOMMEND at all.

most people gave low ratings because they were inpatients and forced to be there. I gave it because of the time the therapist Stephanie told my parents without my permission very personal private info about my sexuality
Not the place for your loved one. This place is aweful, completely filthy, hot water is a hit and miss, Most tilolets had no seat, Lack of compassion, empathy, patient right and diginity is nonexistent. Communication is out the door. The administrative staff gaslight or ignore you and never give you a straight up answer. last week they had clogged pipes and it was never fully fixed. Everyone inhaled toilet fumes and also ended up sick. Before moving the patients to a diffrent unit. Melissa ARNP, and Doctor Michael (known as ... read more

Hello, my name is Sabrina Ray. I was a patient at North Tampa Behavioral Health Hospital from December 13 through December 17. While seeking care to improve my mental health, I experienced what I can only describe as one of the most traumatic events of my life. The conditions, treatment, and overall handling of my care were deeply distressing and unacceptable. Based on my professional background and extensive experience in the insurance industry, I have serious concerns that warrant further investigation, including potenti... read more

**If I could give negative stars, I would.** I'm genuinely afraid to post this, given how I was coerced into signing away my rights. The ten days I spent at this facility were traumatic and dehumanizing. Despite not being a danger to myself or others--only delusional due to a virus attacking my brain--my family was denied access to me the entire time. Every time I asked to go home, I was threatened with involuntary commitment if I didn't stop asking. Because I was physically ill and contagious, I was placed in solitary c... read more

My niece was involuntary baker acted and came to this facility last December. The only reason she escaped within 3 days was because she refused to sign the Voluntary Baker Conversion paperwork that they kept trying very sneakily to get her to sign. We got her an attorney who warned her not to sign thank goodness. But the staff kept trying to trick her, telling her they were letting her go but then obviously trying to convert so they could extend her stay. She actually would have stayed willingly if this place didn't prov... read more

Netflix shows like Ratched, American Horror Story, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest make mental health malpractice seem far away and long ago. However, in 2020 this kind of negligence* is more commonplace than we think. North Tampa Behavioral Health is one of those places you think exists only on the screen. They are notorious for holding, misdiagnosing, and overmedicating patients against their will. On October 1st, I watched powerlessly while my partner remained in their care against her will. She had voluntarily check... read more

A scam that takes your insurance money and keeps you locked up in a hell hole. Watch Brittany Muller's expose on this virtual prison on WFLA's channel 8 " Eight on Your Side " from September 2024: https://youtu.be/ID9SRNI6mTk I was placed here after losing my sanity after my two trusted " physicians" ( see below) prescribed 9 poisons, mostly benzos, in 3 months, after I had a panic attack on an EKG . Fast forward, after a Baker Act put me here---the facility psychiatrist sat me down and said either I sign a document volunta... read more
