I was a voluntary patient at NTBH in early January, 2015 for 6 days. I suffer from Depression and self harm. This was my third treatment center in 12 years and I went WILLING. The absolute worst place to send someone you love or care about. I was given no information on my mother while she has been here. A doctor tried to feed her a cocktail of medication she didn't need and threatened to keep her here if she didn't take them. They put her in a facility with people shitting all over themselves and I tried to call her for 3 hours and never got through to anyone . Getting her out was an insane hassle as well. Horrible place

Utter corrupt hellhole who scams vulnerable patients via extending their involuntary stay through Baker Act. My wife was wrongly Baker Acted (no suicidal ideation - these stupid psychiatrists and ER docs in FL don't even know the definition per ICD-10) and with their sub-par community college training and bogus Masters degrees get employed by Acadia Health and their criminal institutions to act as puppies to undertake insurance fraud at scale to maximize corporate profits. Everyone lies; no confirmed discharged date. They provide medications and don't provide them to the Walgreens on record. DO NOT RECOMMEND at all. Also, the response I got was so generic - nobody picks up the phone. Also, Ms. Melissa decided to up my dosage and others without my consent/conversation which caused severe reactions.

most people gave low ratings because they were inpatients and forced to be there. I gave it because of the time the therapist Stephanie told my parents without my permission very personal private info about my sexuality

Not the place for your loved one. This place is aweful, completely filthy, hot water is a hit and miss, Most tilolets had no seat, Lack of compassion, empathy, patient right and diginity is nonexistent. Communication is out the door. The administrative staff gaslight or ignore you and never give you a straight up answer. last week they had clogged pipes and it was never fully fixed. The ten days I spent at this facility were traumatic and dehumanizing.
