This entire system is a joke. Their chatbot is useless and good luck getting anyone to call you back for anything. Some of the worst tech I've ever seen. Additionally, the medical billing team is beyond lacking in expertise. I've had to self-resolve my own billing with appropriate coding. It's unreal!
Ohh where to start. Google does not let me post it my review. I used to work here so this is first hand experience. All the reviews are true. You will be here for as long as your insurance pays. Even if you do not need to be here or doing better forget about discharge. They will talk you into signing voluntary but you cannot leave. It's a total scam. This place has the worst staff I have ever seen. They will straight out lie to you even in your face. Its1am on January 10th. I am worried about a friend, that I took there, the did a evaluation on her and shipped her somewhere else. I didn't want personal information but wanted to k n ow the rules so I could check on her. This is not a hospital, it is a jail. No one at this "hospital" is there to help you. They will discharge you as soon as possible if you do not have insurance but if you have insurance.... oh boy you are in for a ride. They will bill you $2000+ a day to stay in a completely "un-private" room, you have a roommate and not allowed to close the door while their teenager staff members wake you up every 15 minutes (24/7) to scan your jail bracelet you cant remove. they are giving kickbacks to their doctors to involuntarily com... read more
Horrible experience. It's just a mad house of doctors and therapist changing out consistently. I was there 2 weeks outpatient and quit going. You'd have to wait outside have the time for an office worker to let you in, they were usually late. It's just a huge waste of time and money. If you really want to get clean and change your life go to Turning Point of Tampa. These people go out of there way to help you. It's no cake walk. It's well structured and helps ring you down and learn your self worth.
Beware! Do not send anyone that you care about there for "help" or "treatment" the staff and doctors are horrible, the place is disgusting and they treat you like prison inmates. They are a scam and hold everyone against their will by telling them that if they ask to leave they will be baker-acted. Even if you go in "voluntarily". The word "crisis" means that someone needs immediate and significant help. That is NOT what NTBH can offer. On Day 3, my loved one was finally given psychiatric meds. On Day 5, he was finally met by a case worker to take his history and listen to his summary of pain. Both of those basic crisis services should have been offered Day 1. In the meantime, my loved one was left to stare at a wall. No individual therapy. Group therapy once a day, but no other structured activity. And they won't let him out.
This place was horrible! Most of the staff were uncaring, rude & some were absolute racist! It was freezing in there and I asked for 3 days for an extra blanket Never received one. I also asked for a gown and if possible for someone to wash my clothes because I went in due to an emergency. They acted as though they were being interrupted and we (the patients) were a huge inconvenience. The facility smelled of urine & was dirty! The food was not good at all. Are u kidding me...this is worse than jail...my husband is there right now and I called to say I was coming to get him after he admitted himself 4 days ago and they tell me he is not on the list to be discharged yet another day. This is the biggest case of Medicare fraud and I don't no how they r getting away with this..there are multiple lawsuits against them and I just reported them to Medicare fraud and abuse and now I'm calling the Sheriff.
