Absolutely the worst facility I've is ever seen in my life. They cant get your medications right. The staff is disrespectful and unprofessional. They should not be working in a fast food restaurant let alone a psychiatric hospital. The food isn't even sub-par. I can only describe it as being worse than county jail food. They feed us egg salad sandwiches for dinner and sent up three pieces of chicken for twelve patients seemingly to create a situation that would envoke a fight amongst patients. I just left this place a few hours ago. I've been in and out of facilities over the past few years and this one was the worst I've ever been at. The staff was rude and rolled their eyes whenever any of the patients needed anything. One tech in particular would always say "no" before getting up to get me something. They are also extremely unorganized. In my past units, procedure would be as follows: wake up, take vitals, take meds, eat breakfast, see the doctor. This place will keep you 7 days no matter what so be prepared to stay. I went in voluntary and was voluntold I had to stay.
Whatever, you do. DO NOT GO TO THIS HELL HOLE!! A friend of mine was Baker Acted and sent here directly from a local hospital. It took me 3 days to get anyone to return my call regarding his status. I had to scream at 3 different staff members on the phone to even get a response. My friend was able to call me but was supervised and had the phone taken away from him during our conversation. I don't have the entire week to spend writing about the many negative and appalling aspects of this facility, but let's just say that you should steer clear of them and their doctors. The facility is a complete scam from checking in to trying to get out - yes I mean try bc even if you go in on your own they won't let you out when you want. Nobody stays less than 3-5 days, no matter their issue.

My review from the summer was taken down. So I will rewrite it. We had a horrible family experience here and the facility does not give adequate care. Please read the reviews before considering sending someone you love here. There is a reason it has one star.

This facility actively manipulates its patients into signing documents that keep them longer than necessary, participates in practices seeking to defraud insurance and Medicaid, and makes little to no effort to properly diagnose and treat the people admitted here. They treat charts and paperwork not patients. It is a money making machine that disregards the welfare of the most vulnerable among us. Real life torcher. AND not to help you, but simply because NO staff cares about you. Except for a large, African-American male, I remembered his name for well over a year, however I simply cannot recall it right now. But he was a true angel. If you've never seen the classic movie, "one flew over the cuckoo nest", you should watch it before going. The only difference is that here they do not do lobotomies (that I know of). this is the worse place to send anyone! please don't go. no veteran should go. core does not exist. it was better 3 years ago. no treatment. the counselor reads to you from a handout then goes outside. no help. they say it is "grand." nothing grand. no gym. beds like jail. go to the willoughs at naples. windmoor in clearwater anywhere but here.
