I waited in line for over an hour to get an oil change. It was busy, but there were only 3 cars ahead of me. Finally I pulled into the bay, they opened the hood, asked about the service needed and ... disappeared for at least 20 minutes. First the good. They were very friendly before my car was in the queue. While I was waiting the offered me a beverage. When my car was in the Bayhe asked me if I wanted to have my air filter changed and ripped it right in front of me. I appreciate the offer,but to purposefully damage my equipment in an effort to force me to buy another one is bad business. I may never go back. I'm glad to hear that it isn't a normal practice. Rude and destructive behavior, however, are not part of the Oilstop culture nor is trying to sell a new air filter when the current one is perfectly fine. Horrible I have had my vehicle for eight months not one problem I took it in to get the oil changed first time anyone's been under the hood since purchased and now my lights and sensors keep going off. I called the manager Carlos and he said its not on him and the guys there I had to get it fixed . I asked for the corporate phone to file a complaint and he gave me a fake number so I called back and he gave me another fake number . Scams at the best
Let me start by saying the people here are super nice (Which is why I've continued to be a customer this far) but...as I write this I've been sitting here for 2 hours. This is the third time I've waited for over an hour for an oil change. Today was the worst in sure because it's Saturday but two hours? C'mon. While the service was good, I feel like they are a total rip off. I asked for a basic oil change with nothing else added on, and was charged $53!!!!! I have never ever spent this much on a basic oil change. My mechanic does oil changes for less than this! I will never ever go back and do not recommend them to anyone.
Quite impressed with their excellent service and no pressure to buy. Overall, an enjoyable experience without getting out of the car, especially with the kids. When I'm in the South Bay, I go to my favorite place in Palo Alto (Nine Minute Oil Change); although, they don't offer a free car wash. This place has one in Rohnert Park, and also offers $10 off your next visit. I'm happy to know there's a reliable place to get my oil changed in the North Bay with free beverages, top-offs & WiFi. Maddening experience. I have been here once before and recalled that they kept knocking on my window (you are not allowed to leave your car) to ask me questions about add ons and show me oil levels, etc... I had some work to finish so I kindly asked the gentleman to ask me everything up front and please don't do that knocking on my window thing. He agreed. We had our oil changed on our 2005 Jeep at this location at a cost of 60+ dollars and soon after the skid guard which was removed by Oilstop tech, was rattling and took it to our mechanic who found the four mounting bolts were left loose and could have resulted in major damage or serious injury. I cannot recommend this site for any service. After I called Carlos the manager of this site he offered our money back for the oil change. He was eager to make things right and very apologetic.
Let me begin by saying this business is absolutely TERRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I came by for a simple oil change the other week, and the instant I pulled out of the Oilstop, I noticed my power steering wasn't working, my airconditioner did not work, and suddenly my battery light came on and my car battery was dying. I later found out from a mechanic that the vehicle's serpentine belt had been tampered with and removed, causing colossal damage to the water pump.
