Fast and through. Best for someone who does some of their work and who knows exactly what they DON'T NEED. Because you will be offered everything. Not all of which is needed. You need to be ready to say no when offered unnecessary service procedures.

Had a horrible experience at this San Mateo Oilstop. They were three cars per aisle filled with cars so I had to pull up my car to the aisle where I didn't take up extra space on the street (where cars were driving by in back of me.). A rude Oilstop employee starts yelling for me to move to a different aisle where the ass of my suv will now block even more of the street in back of me, for no reason, except his "little man big voice, must follow me I work here" attitude. Getting my oil changed as I write this. This is my second time here. I love these guys ! Richie , Gabriel and the entire team there are fantastic. They are quick and efficient. Very friendly, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!

Most seamless and efficient oil service ever! I came today at 7:55 AM and luckily I was the first person in line. They opened right at 8 AM and I was out the door at 8:30!! They did recommend a few items but in a professional/ informative manner and were never pushy. Special thanks to Arthur, Juma, and Jovonne for working on my vehicle today :) You guys are awesome and I'll be back again in the future.

This review is based on the people working here and customer service alone. I was unable to actually get my car serviced here, so I cannot speak on that right now. My check engine light came on in my car and I thought it may be that it needed an oil change. I drove up to the Oilstop. There were a few cars in front of me but someone immediately came to my window to ask what I needed. I said I needed an oil change. They offered me four different kinds of beverages. All I can say is "Wow". First time here, right now, getting an oil change for my car. If you've never been here, this a drive-thru oil change experience. You're looking at a 45 minute service on a good day. I drove right in and my wait was 5 minutes but pre-pandemic, you're probably going to wait way longer. These guys are professional through and through. They introduce themselves to you and explain the process. I came here on Black Friday to get my oil changed for the first time and the service was definitely what I needed. It's great because you can stay in your car and the whole process it quite fast I would say about 30 minutes. When I went it was a bit busy so I was there for 45 minutes. I listened to a podcast and they did offer different drink options (water, juice, soda, tea) while you wait. They do offer other services beyond the oil change and they do mention it but are not pushy which I can appreciate. It is pricy but the... read more

I went to this place on my way home about 4 months ago. Yesterday I went to my regular spot which is my friends shop and couldn't believe what I saw when my car was on the lift. It looked as if I had an oil leak because the oil filter was not tightened very well. It's not the easiest area to get in and tighten down the filter but to have it barely finger tip tight and leave a damn rag in there to catch the oil is bullshit. I don't know what exactly happened here but I would never go here again after seeing this.
