I was in desperate (like waaay overdue) need of an oil change. I was out and about, which isn't a frequent thing during COVID, and started yelping oil change places. I looked for reviews, deals, etc. But ultimately, really needed a place that could take me right away - and one that takes ApplePay because I'd forgotten my wallet. Oilstop ticked both boxes. Friendly, efficient, informative, not pushy, hospitable. I had the best time getting my oil changed. I got it done during my lunch break, it was so fast. I was treated fairly and was made aware of some small issues that "you don't have to take care of today" but they would check next time I came. I found my neighbor oil changing station and will be a regular from now on.
I've been meaning to do an oil change, but wasn't sure where to go to during COVID. I loved that we stayed in our car and staff only touched and work on the exterior and hood of the car. I wanted to go somewhere that I could make an appointment with so that I didn't have to wait, but all of those places required staff to enter your car/leave your car with them. nice selection of complimentary drinks after all their services is pricey, came for regular scheduled 3,000 miles oil change and wow !!if i was gullible i would have said yes to everything they try to offer ... gunk oil something,smooth oil something, clean oil something, flush oil something,its just ridiculous offers and making me feel overwhelmed and making my car looks shitty and high maintenance.If anything just be firm and ask for regular oil change and thats all , I think if you get all those other extras if you do a l... read more

Customer service was great! They offer a beverages while you wait in your car. Fast service!
Brought in my Nissan and my Honda and they really took care of my vehicles and myself. I was able to bring in my own liquids for added discounts and the Technicians are super friendly. The best part is I don't feel judged for not knowing a lot about my vehicles when I ask questions. My GF goes here and told me to check it out. Honestly beats changing the oil myself which is about the extent of what I know what to do. Lol
The team at oilstop drive thru in San Mateo are top notch. The service is very professional and they've done a great job maintaining my vehicle especially during covid. During my last visit Jovonne / Juna was fantastic in communicating every step of the 33 point service and the entire team was efficient. Thanks for your help in keeping my vehicle maintained. Someday I'll bring in my Lamborghini for service.
I moved here from the south, you know where southern hospitality is just a normality. It was a huge fear of mine that I would not experience the service I always had given to me in the south here in California. The first oil change experience I had here was terrible in San Francisco. But this place. My goodness, what a service! They gave me water waiting in the hot sun, cleaned my windows, were very polite, didn't force me to wear those stupid face masks either. I've written a review for OilStop San Mateo in the past and my experience today was no different. Top notch service and care. Five stars to Issac for checking me in and providing a bottle of cold water. Another 5 stars for Gabriel for taking lead on my 33 point oil change service. Gabriel noticed I had my two senior rescue dogs in the car and he took the time to chat with me about them and even offered them treats. That personal touch made this visit really enjoyable.
