ORHP has under performed yet again. We needed a new AC unit and ORHP sent us a completely unvetted company. I called ORHP during the installation to warn them of what I was witnessing and how the new AC unit would likely have issues as a result. ORHP stated that they had called the company, and the company would stand behind its work. SO nothing more was done. Fast forward 3 months (when it's 110 in Phoenix) and guess what broke? I’ve had my policy since 2018, a couple of small claims no problem. I first contacted ORHP on June 9 about my ac not working. Service provider came out on the 10 and said I needed a new compressor and he would submit info. I contacted ORHP around the 15 to check status. Was told they were waiting on me to confirm additional charges on my part (no contact from ORHP to me). I approved the charges and was told it would be 7-10 business days. As of this writing I've been on hold for over 50 minutes, calling during business hours. No callback option. No status of how long until a rep will pick up. It's 2025 and simple customer service skills are non-existent. As for their coverage, don't bother. We paid extra for AC coverage, was told only $500 would be covered and we'd have to pay $2,600. What's the point of getting the extra AC coverage if it won't be fully covered. No way to change plan coverages either, you buy one tier and it seems as if you're stuck with it... read more
Easily the worst home warranty company . i could have given zero rating , but could not , so giving a 1 star rating 1. i got a water heater installed as part of plan in 2021 2. Employees are rude and give you attitude on the phone. Had me on hold multiple times for over 2 hours! Kept transferring me to another person, wouldnt listen to the issue I was having, then claimed that the company would not cover my issue when I already had approval for the service to be covered. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone, extremely poor customer service and they will look for any reason to not cover a service for an appliance after charging you a service fee. Its at the point that even though Im covered I will not bother to call them for any issues related to my homes appliances. Expect when they finally do get back to you after a few days they will cancel your appointment despite initially telling you were covered. This company is a scam and doesn't cover claims. My pool filter cracked and was leaking water. I turned it off and called them. By the time their service provider came out more than 2 days later there was algae beginning to grow in the pool. Old republic refused the claim indicating we misused the pool filter by allowing algae to grow in the pool. It is the most backwards logic I have ever experienced!
