Old Republic goes out of their way to deny claims. The contractor who did the work laughed and said their excuse for denial was "crazy." However, Old Republic said we had no grounds for appeal since our contractor performed the work before we found out that the claim had been denied. We will never buy a home warranty ever again.

Would not waste my money again. We had a dishwasher issue which began in July 2023. Three service vendors later (first said we needed part and was going to order, but upon follow up learned he wasnt going to travel from ******** to ******** again. Very long hold times lately and their vendors are not the greatest. I am disappointed. Been a client for over 15 years and thinking of switching. **************** has went down big time with Old Republic. Hold times are extremely long and frustrating. Seems like Old Republic needs to hire more employees and get better vendors.

Honestly save your money and put X amount away monthly so if you do have A problem you can pay for it with the money saved. I have gone through h*** and back with Old Republic home protection for A mere $45 cost to remove my old appliance which was supposedly to be taken away by them. Do not believe them when they say they will reimburse you that's A load of ****.the only thing they protect is their bank account with the money from us saps who purchase their warranty's. Recently ORHP charged me $110.00 for NOTHING except delays, lies and frustration. The company you sent to fix my hot water shower leak decided they also wanted to change the cold water valve. Changing the cold water valve, which WASNT leaking, would require turning off the water to the entire apartment building. This company is a scam. I have 2 appliances that broke down around the same time. This company sent out a tech to fix my dishwasher and after he left the unit was in worse shape so they sent out another tech and he said that the unit needs to many parts and the whole unit would need to be changed because it would be cheaper. They denied this claim because the unit was improperly installed but that is not what I was told.
