Requested service for AC that was not working. First company Old Republic sent said they could not find anything wrong. There was clearly something wrong so I requested Old Republic send another company for a 2nd evaluation. Within 10 minutes they found the issue with the duct work. Old Republic charged $100 for each visit ($200 total) and I paid $650 for the duct work to be repaired because it was only partially covered. Old Republic is the slowest company to resolve needs for WHAT WE PAID FOR!First, let me explain the reason and urgency for this complaint. I have a 6 month pregnant wife as well as a 7 year old, 10. year old, and 13 year old. My Air Conditioning is not working, and it's been over 99 degrees F in my home and outside.We filed our claim on 8/16. The in-network service provider came on 8/19 (reasonable) to diagnose the issue. The old Republic ***laced my dishwasher and not even a year the dishwasher they gave me is already broken and won't turn on. I only use my dishwasher occasionally. I called on July ******* and after almost 7 weeks I don't have a dishwasher. The company they hired to fix is stating they need to ***lace new parts. Old republic does not stand for what they claim. We had a pipe leak at which they sent two different *******s out for two different occasions and neither one did a professional job. The first ******* didnt fix the problem and the second ******* ruined our floors. The claim was closed for a little over 30 days and we still have water flooding from our ceiling. The contractor that was sent out was grossly incompetent. I had to find my own contractor fix the problem. Very disappointed.

Old Republic (as expected based on all the prior reviews I've read) denied coverage for the replacement of my pool filter as part of my home warranty plan. The servicer noted that a pipe leading up to the filter was leaking and silicon had previously been applied to the exterior pipe, but the filter itself was not leaking. However, that was all the evidence Old Republic needed to deny the claim. Apparently, just by looking at the photos they can determine this was going on prior me buying the home. I have been a customer for Old Republic Home Protection for 12 years. Initially, this company was great. Few years ago, my hot water heater in the garage exploded, had to call an immediate service because my house was flooding. Cost about 2400 bucks, old republic gave me about 400 bucks because I did not call them. Cannot call 24 hours anymore and house was flooding. A bit of an emergency. Old republic customer satisfaction index should less than zero. I have been without AC since June 9th,2024. They have sent 3 or 4 different companies out , *** lost count now. Still no AC. When I call old republic they refuse to let you talk to a manager and that a representative in the authorization department is the highest ranking person you can speak with.
