Every claim I bring to Old Republic is denied. The process to file a claim is difficult and because they won't pay for anything I would definitely stay away from this company.

After having back and forth conversation for almost 4 months on one of my problem, they closed my case without resolving. I am very frustrated. I tried to call the special handle department ( where my case was referred to) , I havent received any response. Left voicemail many times but no response.

We had been contract holders with American Home Shield for over 20 years. Did we have issues with them--yes, we did. Got tired of the difficulty of getting reputable contractors. After much research we decided to go with Old Republic. We've been very happy with them. In 12 months, we've had two service requests that were handled promptly and to our satisfaction. Weve been waiting for an A/C claim to be resolved since March 9 and have been given the run-around since the beginning of the claim. The last time we had an A/C claim, it took over 6 months to resolve. Ive called every week, 2-3 times a week and have asked for a supv to return my call 4 times and have yet to receive a call. This is the beginning of warm months and very uncomfortable but no one cares to give us a a TRUE answer as to why our request has not been resolved. Very upsetting, may be time to get a lawyer.

I am giving Old Republic a two star review. The office staff and phone interaction was great but the the contractor they used for my HVAC check never called to set up appointment. The lock re-key contactor was unable to rekey the main lock because of the age and style (house built 1995).We ended up using a local HVAC company with many years in business and great customer interaction at our expense. The lock re-key will also be at our expense with a local company with more experience.

Unfortunately we had 2 issues/work orders recently that didn't go well. One placed on 4/21/23 for our washer. ORHP charged our credit card for this on 5/2/23, but as of today 5/4/23 no one has actually ************** it. Emailed ORHP and so far no response. Far worse is the work order placed on 4/19/23 for electrical flickering throughout the house. They sent an electrician on 4/21/23 who said to call ***. *** came and said it was our side of the panel. We have had the worst experience in getting three eyes of our induction range fixed! We ordered a new part last December (2022) and Old Republic sent out three different contractors to repair it BUT we're still waiting for that part to come in and be installed as of TODAY! The worst part is that every time we call to check on the progress, we find that someone dropped the ball and didn't follow through! Totally UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE!

This company is definitely not one I would recommend or renew with. I purchased my home back in August and at the beginning February I called in to have my AC, dishwasher and fridge looked at. They had two companies come out and state they would do necessary repairs. The fridge and dishwasher issues were to be done by the same company.
