Nothing but run-around and unanswered promises of a return phone call. Try to speak to a supervisor and they are always busy and will "call you back". We've been without AC for a month and a half. 90 degrees in the house now. I get a different person each time and put on hold for 20 minutes while they check my status. Every time they come back they tell me that they are waiting on more information from the installer. The website shows parts ordered but with each phone call I make they tell me they are ordering parts today...... read more

It has been a month now since I sent in my claim several emails and calls and I can not get the company to even respond hopefully they will honor their contract but it does not seem promising. Hold time on the telephone is torture over 1/2 hour or more each time I call. Spent too much time and energy on this - I am getting worn down maybe that's their plan? Not cool. Had problems with my furnace been dealing with Old Republic for over a month, You cant talk to the same people so every time you call you get someone different and they give you different information from the time before!! Its been a nightmare to say the least.

I would NOT RECOMMEND THEM. Its been over a year and they still have not finished or payed for my ac/ heating unit. They say things that are not true. They keep you on hold so long and hope you hang up. Out of pocket expenses are high and change with each phone call. A lot of passing the buck and apologizing from employees that mean nothing. Stay clear of this home warranty company!!!!??????????

Since February I've been trying to get my home heater repaired. In 2019, my furnace was replaced and apparently some ductwork was patched. Feb 2023 my heater started shutting on and off before heating the house to its set temperature. I called Old Republic to put in a service request. They sent a company out whom reported I had some crushed ductwork. Old Republic informed me that crushed ductwork was not normal wear and tear and not covered. Can I give less than one star? So we bought a 20 year old home with all original appliances. Our drawer microwave stopped closing and we called ORHP. They sent an appliance repair person out to look at it who did not service the brand of microwave we had (he told me that he does not service the brand of microwave we have) But ORHP knew the brand when they sent this guy out. Ive used all republic for my AC problems 7X since I purchased this home in August 2022. Ive been without an air conditioner since April 25 and today is May 15. They are struggling to find the right parts to fix my air conditioner instead of just replacing it well knowing that this air conditioner has been recalled because of numerous issues. They will not fix it until, the service provider says its unfixable. The problem is the service provider makes money by replacing this unit over and over and over. It was 97 in my house ... read more
