I had ORHP 15 years ago as part of a home purchase. They were good then. I don't know what happened but they're be**ming as bad as the rest of the scam warranty **mpanies out there. They tried to deny my pool pump warranty b/c the disreptuable pool company that replaced it with the cheapest junk they **uld find from ***** didn't last 2 months and when they came back out, the pool ** tried to say the motor was submerged in water when my home is on a hill and has the highest elevation in the subdivision. This company is horrible trash. I would not recommend anyone to use them at all. Had them come out 4 5 times to fix AC unit every time they patch it up, knowing that the unit needs to be replace wont even cover replacing my AC unit sitting in a ********************************************************** my household paying all this money for them to do absolutely nothing

An overhead light fixture in our utility stopped working, so we call our home warranty company (Old Republic Home Protection). The costumer service representative took down the information, and set up a service call. When the electrician arrived at our home, he asked what the problem was. When we told him, he instantly said that the home warranty company does not cover the costs of fixing a light fixture. Have had no Washer or dryer working since June 1st. Ive had to jump through loop holes and every call is a different story. Been one nightmare after another. I never bash a business but I will be sure to let all my friends and realtor friends know to avoid this company and choose a better option. Terrible company. Tried using them to fix my **, told me my coil in my air handler needed to be replaced. Followed up multiple times never heard from them. Finally had to get another ** company to come out and they said it was my compressor. They fixed it and my ** works. Company asked me to leave a review, so I left a one star review and told them why. My realtor gave us a home warranty 6/2019, from Old Republic. They were good in the beginning but this year we had to have our septic tank cleaned out. The company they sent out told me that they would not be responsible if they break a pipe that is connected to the swimming pool. I told them not to touch anything and called Old Republic. Been with Old republic for almost 9 yrs. Defective TXB in brand new AC Unit was installed in my home. They want to have me wait for almost a month for a part in this heat. Not worth the paper it's written on. If your realtor wants to give you a home warranty, make sure it's one that actually covers things. Like an A/C compressor. I don't need a warranty to cover $50 dollar items. I can pay that myself. The whole point of a warranty is to cover major problems.So I paid $75 for them to tell me they won't cover my issue. Thanks for nothing Old Republic.

Zero stars I have been with them since 2009. ** starting acting up they sent someone out who was rude and talked to me like I was ******. Then sent In report that it was dirty which caused the failure and burned compositor. Also said the ** was not on a pad and was a 2019 unit. So ORHP said they would not fix it. But unit is 2009 not 2019. And there is clearly a pad it is sitting on.
