They increase premium every year and its extremely hard to get them pay for repairs. Wait time to get them on the phone around 30 minutes and their representatives are usually not welcoming & supportive. More importantly their service providers are below average. They are usually less responsive and knowledgeable than most others.

This company is a fraud and a hoax. I own property in ******* and the ** went out at Memorial Day weekend. Old republic jerked around my tenants for one and a half months and never fixed the **. They sent 3 different service companies, each of which could not have cared less that there was 110 ******* plus for weeks and my tenants had to move. I had to replace the ** at $12,850 and give free rent. I have yet to hear from Old Republic. This company is nonsense.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PLAN!!!!! I purchased plan because I was a customer before one time I requested service they were easy. I purchased plan again 33 days ago yesterday My water heater start leaking I requested service.Plumber came to my house and told me needs to be replaced. After 2 hours I received a call from Old Republic Home warranty they denied They told me there is a corrosion thats why we are refusing. The best??!! No, you denied a single mother of two children a policy renewal, because I quote you filed claims and now considered a liability to the company. HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?? She lost you money?! Almost 100 bucks a month for THREE years. But the kicker is, she was told home warranty companies communicate with each other about liabilities and she may be denied by other companies too. What is the point of being covered and using your home warranty if THIS happens? You people are monsters, plain and simple.

I do not recommend Old Republic for anyone that needs things fixed in a timely fashion. If the repair requires ORHP to order a part, be ready to wait a long time. My HVAC required a new motor on 7/18/23. After 1.5 weeks, I was informed the part was ordered and would take 3-5 business days to be ready for pick up by the service provider. I can't get the service provider or ORHP to check with the company preparing the part and they refuse to give me their information so I can check myself. We chose ORHP because of all of the things they advertised to cover. Our upstairs AC unit went out recently. Today is July 28 its been out for almost 3 weeks. The first day we noticed something wrong we gave them a call. They sent someone out and that company couldnt help us bc they said they didnt work on that type of unit. Now were not the experts in **** so we didnt know it was different types of units. So we had to wait for them to find someone else to come out. Terrible customer service!! An Agent didn't like my feedback so she hung up on me. I need a repair done on our pool which is covered according to the contract, but because I didn't answer their questions correctly they are refusing the pay for the repair. My AC is broken and they are contracted with someone who doesn't live in the area so can't come out for 2 weeks!! Lovely when it's 116 degrees every day and my house is 90 degrees inside.
