Orkin, as a company, is so frustrating. Upon starting my "contract" it was very unclear in terms of whether it was actually a "contract," and how to exit it, if need be. (We had a seasonal summer need for pest control but it tapers in the winter and we wanted to cut back costs.) The procedure for exiting the agreement or "contract" was that you had to call and request a "manager" to call you back. Orkin referred my job to a subcontractor who did subpar and incomplete work, and Orkin took no responsibility or accountability for the shoddy job. Horrible experience, I would never recommend them.

Pros and cons! I worked for Orkin for 11 years. Orkin itself as a pest control company is an excellent pest company. They will get rid of your pest problems! With that being said their integrity level for work personal is very low. I hurt my back 2xs on the job at Orkin, as I was working my 17hr days. The 3rd time I hurt it I was in the way out the door to go to work. I slipped and hurt it again in the same place I previously hurt it. Only this time my injury was severe! Well long story short I had to have surgery on my back... read more

Pros and cons! I worked for Orkin for 11 years. Orkin itself as a pest control company is an excellent pest company. They will get rid of your pest problems! extremely disappointed...the service person was lovely...the company policy...not so. I was charged $325 for a half hour visit, and the setting of 3 wood traps. I will never use them again. and I called to cancel 2 days ago and no one posted the cancellation. then I called today - the second time - and no one answered or called back when I left a message. so, Orkin, no no no

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I just bought my first home and really needed someone to not only check over my entire home, but spray, trap, Caulk, and plug up any places where mice and bugs could get it. The women in the initial call said they can send someone to do that, plus do a wood density test and a moisture test. All these services cost me 392$.
