I haven't contracted them personally . It was a service provided by an apparent complex (Ava Studio City) I lived in. Representative came twice for two different reasons. First one was roaches. We left a comment in the request, that we have a baby, and we are concerned about chemicals. Orkin, as a company, is so frustrating. Upon starting my "contract" it was very unclear in terms of whether it was actually a "contract," and how to exit it, if need be. (We had a seasonal summer need for pest control but it tapers in the winter and we wanted to cut back costs.) The procedure for exiting the agreement or "contract" was that you had to call and request a "manager" to call you back. No one that answers the phone apparently can actually do anything beyond set up appointments. I called a few times only to be... read more

Orkin referred my job to a subcontractor who did subpar and incomplete work, and Orkin took no responsibility or accountability for the shoddy job. Horrible experience, I would never recommend them.

Pros and cons! I worked for Orkin for 11 years. Orkin itself as a pest control company is an excellent pest company. They will get rid of your pest problems! With that being said their integrity level for work personal is very low. I hurt my back 2xs on the job at Orkin, as I was working my 17hr days. The 3rd time I hurt it I was in the way out the door to go to work. I slipped and hurt it again in the same place I previously hurt it. Only this time my injury was severe! Well long story short I had to have surgery on my back... read more

Pros and cons! I worked for Orkin for 11 years. Orkin itself as a pest control company is an excellent pest company. They will get rid of your pest problems! extremely disappointed...the service person was lovely...the company policy...not so. I was charged $325 for a half hour visit, and the setting of 3 wood traps. I will never use them again. and I called to cancel 2 days ago and no one posted the cancellation. then I called today - the second time - and no one answered or called back when I left a message. so, Orkin, no no no
