Wanted to thank the ER team and Dr for the prompt attention and care they provided my fur baby. I appreciate the comfort and support that was given to me while my fur baby was being examined. The best bedside manner provided, which is key during medical situations.

I brought my kitty in last night, after we thought he may have ingested a balloon ribbon. I called another place first which suggested that inducing vomiting usually does not work in cats. They made it sound like there isn't much they can do, until it destroyed his intestines. Called here after, they said it's 50/50, and they could definitely try. We brought him in less than 15 minutes later, and they got him to throw up about a foot and a half of ribbon he ate. I was only charged $360 for an emergency 2+ hour long visit. Dr... read more

I want to preface this review with the fact that I am currently a receptionist at an animal hospital and have worked in the field for a few years now. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt I had to after my visit to the hospital last night with my dog. I was incredibly moved by the care we received. It started at home with an initial phone call. Renee picked up the phone to find me crying and asking all kinds of questions. She was calm, warm, and extremely knowledgeable. I truly can't say enough good things about Pacific Care. I first found them during COVID, and ever since, I will drive all the way from Arcadia to Irvine anytime I have a furbaby emergency. When I called to let them know we were on our way, even though it had been 18 months since our last visit, I was greeted by a familiar voice and that alone was incredibly comforting. First off the exam fee is half the price of what VCA charges. Both times i went there was no wait. The facility is clean, spacious, and well taken care of. The receptionist/vet techs are so compassionate and truly care for the well being of your pets. The vets are good but they really try to sell you on their services which are marked up extremely high. If you can wait until the morning to see your normal vet you will save hundreds if not thousands of dollars. I only do what is absolutely necessary for my pet. The blood test... read more

Although I did not go in to the store, I spoke with someone over the phone and they were so helpful! My dog ate some chocolate left out on the table while we were away. We called the animal poison control and they wanted $85 JUST TO TALK TO US!!!! We called this place and the nurse passed our info over to a doctor which gave us great instructions for watching over our pup. He's doing great and didn't need to spend any money. Finally, a place that cares about our animals and not just sucking our wallets dry! Thank you!!!

We recently lost our beloved four year-old dog very unexpectedly of heart failure. As you can imagine, it was horrible for us, but I wanted to update our prior review because Pacific Care has continued to be exceptional even through one of the worst experiences of my life.
