Staff was very thorough and took time to explain my pet's problems. Their news was very difficult to hear but they delivered it in a kind and caring fashion. The only issue is that they are so busy, it feels like the wait takes forever to check out or consult with the treating vet.

I was finally contacted and informed of the results we had been waiting for. I think I spoke with Colleen (I'm bad with names) and she was very very kind and apologetic about the most recent situation as well as the one before. She also reimbursed us for the cost of the test. Thank you to Colleen (I think) for acknowledging the issues and trying to make it right. My cat had to come in for an emergency labored breathing. They immediately took him back, got assessed, and took a deposit so they could do treatments right away. My poor guy was extremely sick and unfortunately did not make it but through no fault of the Vets or the technicians. Everyone was extremely empathetic and sympathetic and made a very hard night easier knowing he was taken care of well.

I took my sick pet to Pacific Care the day after a horrible experience at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego. It was the best decision I made in my pet's time of crisis. In terms of emergency pet care, Pacific Care is the absolute real deal. Very competent. Very helpful. Very professional. They cannot cure my pet's terminal illness, but they miraculously brought him back to life when he was near dead. I now have some time to adjust to this heart breaking reality and to plan my goodbye. We recently had an emergency with our dog at 5am in the morning on a weekend. We were so thankful to find this beautiful 24 hour emergency hospital. The welcoming staff brought us in right away and the Doctor immediately began to triage her. We appreciate the kindness, compassion, and sensitivity shown by every one as we ultimately had to sadly say good bye to our ailing dog. We brought our little doggy here for a follow-up with Dr. Durtschi, a cardiologist. Everything went so smoothly! The vet that takes your pets history and discusses concerns before you see the cardiologist is SO SWEET! I hate that I didn't get her name. I had a migraine and she dimmed the lights and closed the shades to make me more comfortable. Both her and Dr. Durtschi are very thorough and make sure you understand everything. I highly recommend them if your pet needs a cardiologist!

I was very impressed with the facility and the skill level of the staff. The doctors are wonderful and very knowledgeable. This facility was the only one that could squeeze in an urgent Ultrasound needed for my dog. The fact that they had that ability shows they care. The other sites we contacted were just a flat no or the Ultrasound tech only came in 1x a week! I really appreciated their help. This facility excels at Communication !!! Accommodating and they made Tiki and her care a priority. They are upfront on the fees.... read more
