unknown Zach checked all components of my air conditioning system. He discovered that the breaker had been tripped because of debris and dirt attached to the inside of the condenser unit outside. He burned off and then hosed out all of the debris. Upon checking the pressure of the unit he determined there was a leak that was letting Freon slowly drain. Another company that did our preventive servicing for 10 years discovered the problem with our air conditioner. They gave us a quote to repair the system or three options to replace the entire home HVAC system. We didn't get our questions answered regarding the unit options they offered like we hoped they would which forced us to look else where. We wanted to compare prices with other companies. My reason for contacting Patriot Heating and Cooling was because my air conditioner stopped working the summer of 2012. After obtaining several bids, I went with Patriot Heating and Cooling because he was the lowest of all of them (some were almost twice Jacob's bid) but still promised quality products and installation. I called Patriot Heating on a Sunday afternoon, 1/26/14, and Jacob answered my call. I explained what was happening with my thermostat and Jacob advised me of a couple of things I could tryto avoid a service call. Ifollowed hisrecommendationsand they didn't work. He advised me that he could come that day to check out the thermostat and switch it out if needed. 18 months following furnace installation, everything is still running great! Replaced furnace
Jacob was verythorough and organized in explaning what was needed for our home. He arrived at our home at the prescribed time and completed the job by himself in about three hours. He also offered us some additional energy saving tips. The original furnace was not available so he installed a larger furnace of the same brand at no additional cost. Installed a new furnace
I appreciated their honesty and the suggestion to check to see if it was covered under warranty. They seemed to be knowledgeable, very polite and straight-forward. There was nothing negative with them. The work ended up being covered under warranty so the Big Deal was not needed and refunded.
