Very simple and transparent process. Sarah was a pleasure and answered all questions quickly. Great experience.
Nancy was very hard to work with. She didn’t communicate well and didn’t seem to remember prior conversations. She asked for documents that were not needed several times. She gave the wrong closing cost amount to the title company (like almost $40,000 more than it actually was) which made for a very stressful morning thinking we needed to pay a lot more. The loan process with Penny Mac was smooth until we had to deal with Nancy. It was very frustrating and disappointing.

The process went nicely.
Most of the process was handled well. My issue was during the signing of the closing documents. One of the documents had a different payment schedule date than what was originally explained to me. I attempted to contact my loan officer via phone and email several times to verify and got no answer. In order to move the process along and not reschedule another notary again I felt compelled to sign a document that I was unsure about and no one from Penny Mac was available to help me.
We had many questions about electronic document processing because it was new to us. We also had a few technical difficulties, but we got helped quickly to solve them. Thank you Elizabeth for your kind help.
The entire team that was assigned to my loan was outstanding!!!! I interacted with Elizabeth the most and she was phenomenal ! The customer that i received was superb and made this refinance experience quite pleasant!!! .
Overall our experience with the Penny Mac team was great! Nearly all of our questions were answered within a day or two. The only questions we did have we unfortunately didn’t have time to ask. I would recommend Penny Mac!
