Nancy was very hard to work with. She didn’t communicate well and didn’t seem to remember prior conversations. She asked for documents that were not needed several times. She gave the wrong closing cost amount to the title company (like almost $40,000 more than it actually was) which made for a very stressful morning thinking we needed to pay a lot more. The loan process with Penny Mac was smooth until we had to deal with Nancy. It was very frustrating and disappointing.

Most of the process was handled well. My issue was during the signing of the closing documents. One of the documents had a different payment schedule date than what was originally explained to me. I attempted to contact my loan officer via phone and email several times to verify and got no answer. In order to move the process along and not reschedule another notary again I felt compelled to sign a document that I was unsure about and no one from Penny Mac was available to help me.

Nancy was not going to get loan processed but closing date of November 13. Jack stepped in on November 12 to try to make closing. Underwriter for our loan quit on Thursday. We didn't close on the 13th. On Monday afternoon we found out that we were missing signed documents from relocation company. We were able to get them signed but still couldn't close until Tuesday November 17. The moving company was sitting in front of our new home but couldn't unload. It was very stressful.
