What I appreciated was that each loan associate I worked with was a specialist in each phase of the loan process. I was also treated with respect and was never made to feel like just “another applicant”.
The process was easy
The entire process seemed to drag on with request for the same documents several times over. The initial quote was not the same as final closing. You can do better. However for the past two years of servicing, I am 100% satisfied.
We got great advice on the right type of refi for our situation. And the closing date was sooner than we had anticipated. Thank you PennyMac team.
The man who helped me was very helpful. I am in my 80's and not so good on technology. He walked me through the process. Could not have done it without his help.
I have made several attempts via email to Ms. FRAZIER requesting her confirmation that with the re-finance, I will not be paying (2) months mortgage. Instead of emailing me back, she calls me on my cell phone, and on both times she called, I returned her call. At one she left a message and rudely stated, "I am returning a call for Max, and this is the second time"! I cannot understand why Ms. FRAZIER did not email me reference my skip payments for (2) months. I just wanted her to confirm.
I realize that operating in this new normal "COVID -19" environment can be difficult for coworkers used to speaking to each other face to face when working on a loan but there were some gaps in communication between the loan specialist and loan officers. Information that should have been asked at the beginning of the 8 week process, i.e. employment verification, credit check indicated that someone was not following a checklist of required information and sharing amongst the parties.
Tony was very nice, helpful and patient with us. Linda did a great job also. Loved a smooth and easy the process went. We’ve already referred one friend and I’m sure we will more. Thank you.
Victor Martinez was fantastic and he is the primary reason for my Great Experience rating. He provided me with his direct number and was always available to me via phone and email. He spent all of the time that I required answering my questions and walking me through documentation. He did a terrific job!! I had very little interaction with Linda Frazier. She sent me a few emails requesting information that I previously provided and I was never able to contact her directly with questions.
