First of all I was told that my ex would have a notary come to her by 2 different people. But apparently she was faxed paperwork and was told to get it motorized during a pandemic! And was told to get it done by a certain date. And there were not clear instructions for her to follow on where to sign and it did not get done correctly. I previously was a pennymac customer and I was offered discounts to keep my mortgage with them when bought a new house. I shopped around for loans and when it came down to it, pennymac got me the best interest rate with zero points and saved me nearly $4,000 in closing costs.
Whole process was quick, painless and saved us a bunch of money long-term.
There was confusion with needed documents and multiple requests for the same documents. Once I communicated my irritation I got a call and the problem was taken care of. All in all I got through the process with only a couple of glitches.
I am very happy with my experience here. From beginning to end, everything was done to high standards and with professionalism. I have a friend who will be in the market for a joke and I have already recommended Pennymac to them. I am so happy I found Pennymac.
