Process was easy. Our only disappointment was we had to redo our closing documents several times because the amount we had to bring to close was all over the place and not what was agreed upon. In the end it was figured out and we reduced by a full point with major savings.

Aggressive loan officer matched a deal I got from another bank. That was great, but in the end it would have been better to just go with the other bank. He made it sound like it would be easier to stick with pennymac but the inconsistent communication and continuous errors in the paper work lead me to be working on the refi loan as if I was an employee for pennymac. I had to stay on them to check their work because it was clear they were either too busy to care or just overwhelmed with work.

If your team would have processed my loan correctly and I didn’t have to make several calls to correct a mistake with my escrow account and if someone would have returned a call about my escrow account when I was told that someone would call me back. I still have an issue even after my loan has been funded. Everything else was very good and very fast

Ivonne, thank you for excellent service. You kept me well informed throughout the loan process with email and phone calls. My calls were returned quickly and questions answered completely. I liked that you could share notes from prior discussions, which helped me feel safe with Penny Mac.
