Everything went smoothly until the closing. The notary man made us very uncomfortable. I understand he isn't a Pennymac employee . When I was told that I would not have anymore payments until the new loan starts I made plans to pay off some other things. So when another payment was taken from my account it caused me a lot of stress as I had committed the money elsewhere and had to rush to cancel those payment which cost me a few fees. Ive since been told it will be refunded soon.

Linda Frazier did what she said she would do. Her promptness and information she provided was spot on. She provided a high level of service that any customer should expect, but she exceeded my expectations. This made the entire process pleasant, and the next thing I knew someone was coordinating my closing. This is not my first refinance, but this was by far the easiest. Thanks for helping me and my family save money on our mortgage payments during this Coronavirus pandemic. Truly a blessing!

The process moved pretty smoothly and, even though the COVID shutdown happened during it, we still closed on time. So, I'm happy with the refinance process and happy to keep my loan at PennyMac.
