being that we refinance out loan with the same company our original loan was with, we expected to have better service in terms of cost.

Our closing document was incorrect twice after requesting changes to be made that were not made upon request. No one communicated to me the reasoning taxes were in escrow and I had to call for explanations on what my next steps were

The entire process took too long and I had to kept submitting updated check stubs and such. I felt like they didn’t ask for all the proper information in front either.

Ms. V. Wayde was great and pleasant. She provided prompt responses when possible due to the current state and her capacity. My main concerns are with the loan officer and his efficiency to return calls. Overall, ok experience. Both were always professional and friendly. Lastly, PennyMac should invest in a better phone answering system or hire additional personnel to assist. Wait times were ridiculous!!!

I understand that the process for refinancing is not simple. I feel that some components could have been explained more clearly (like the mortgage insurance being added later to the total monthly payment) And that certain response times could have been better when calling or emailing the Mac team. Altogether it was a good experience and thankful the we completed the process.

You threw the $17,000 worth of checks on the front porch when we were not home. Couldn't they have been sent directly to BECU? We got the checks, but what a risk!
