Communication at the beginning and very end of the process was good. In the middle of it all, communications fell off and my questions were not answered as promptly as the first and last phases. Overall, customer service was good.

The online portal isn’t up to date. Request for documents were received from us in a timely manner, however, they expired due to how long it took pennymac to process our loan. Once we finally received our refinance paperwork for our review it was incorrect with the amount we were requesting to cash out and the refinance rate was incorrect. It took longer than expected (and longer than we were told) for the paperwork to be redone and resubmitted to us.

It was harder to upload docs to your portal as compared to Network Capital and other lenders I worked with. I suggest you cross shop and keep up with the industry standards. I stayed with Pennymac even though others offered to match your deal, and I was considering it. Recommend you communicate clearer after the rate lock expires as my questions were never really answered. Not sure why you dont offer a rate float down feature. Among the huge crush of business and in a covid well done.

Great customer service skills. My refinance only took 4 months to close! Very quick response times.

The underwriter missed several of things including things on the appraisal reports which held things up even after they approved them once. I had to mis the first closing officer because penny Mac failed to send the proper paperwork to the closer as well.

No due to Jason’s service closing was delayed and wasn’t communicated very well the process was delayed due to VA but wasn’t communicated well The overall process was good and the closing went great
