Not having two separate portal areas to have to add documents. Having to sign documents six times throughout due to multiple recalculation is ridiculous. Having documents that have my wrong ssn and being asked to “just sign anyway” is unacceptable. Having to resend the same documents multiple times because the portal or individual said it was not received after they had already provided confirmation on the document.
Other than binging slow to response to emails every thing was done in a professional matter.
My Real Estate Agent could not believe how quickly things were processed and ready by PennyMac and she said she will definitely keep this lender in mind for future clients. I have been a PennyMac customer in the past and love the ease of the website for making payments and looking for any information in reference to the load. My PennyMac Team did an exemplary job and was right on top of things, I never had to contact them, they were in constant contact with me.

Amanda and Darius were fantastic. They were friendly, professional and took great care of my concerns and questions thru the process.
What made it a great experience, was the fact that I was thinking about refinancing when PennyMac approached me first. And better yet, the interest rate offered to me was about 1.4 points lower than what I currently had, which I felt was an awesome thing. Everything in the loan process was handled with the utmost care. It was indeed a pleasure.
Communication was horrible! I regretted refinancing halfway through calls were unanswered, agent would say to expect a call from them but would never call, agent would say they get assistance with answering questions but never follow up. Horrible communication made the process soooo stressful!!!
1. Communication. Pennymac seriously lacked communication. There was a 3 week period where I did not hear from my loan officer or loan processor regarding my closing disclosures. 2. Pennymac missed 2 of my closing dates. 3. Incorrect closing disclosures multiple times
It was exactly what i wanted and expected and more.. every email was answered quick and if there was a mistake it was fixed fast! Would definitely recommend and won’t be going anywhere else!
