My loan experience was very pleasant and professional. All of the people involved were very knowledgeable and explained the information that was needed to complete the loan.
Brent went above and beyond to make this process as smooth and simple as possible. I had his direct number the whole time, which made answering questions a breeze. If he needed something and couldn't reach me, he'd leave a voicemail with crystal clear instructions. I'd submit what he needed, and he'd call back thanking me. I could not have asked for an easier refi. Thanks you PennyMac, and thank you BRENT!
The closing cost went overnight from an estimated $350 refund back to me, to $705 final funds that I was emailed same day as closing that I had to pay morning of. I was upset about it going so high in 12 hours. then I wound up having my notary knock on my door asking for $1460!!! It was a Saturday so no one would answer my calls. Very stressful confusing situation that I hope to never endure again.

I live overseas on military orders. Despite explaining this, I still received calls and voicemails in the middle of the night. When I asked if we can continue via email rather than playing phone tag, I felt that it was easily dismissed. I understand there are a lot of clients right now, but recommend more flexibility with respect to communication means.
