Before asking for documents you requested, check to see if received them first. Many documents were not reviewed when sent and we were scrambling at close once they were. I worked way too hard to pay somebody else. Real estate agent said she had never seen anything like it. Lastly, learn the difference in customer service and customer satisfaction. Big difference.
1. When I received calls the time were sporadic and were hard to be available for. 2. Amount of money needed for closing was inaccurate by $2,000. 3. I never received Pre postage that was promised to me in order to send off the closing amount. 4. I had to take tine off of work in order to collect the correct closing amount and to ultimately wire transfer the funds. 5. Agent did not take responsibility of the closing cost mistake. All inconveniences could have been avoided.
Tyra our loan officer was great however the original loan officer who took our application was an answer to answer questions in regards to interest rates that I had as they dropped lower and it was frustrating that he was round about answering questions and not answering them directly as I wished

Amazing Friendly attitudes and support!!!
Overall a great experience! Being an active duty military member and living in a different country, PennyMac worked with me to complete my refinance process in a timely manner.

The process was going well until it got closer to the end. Nicole was generally unprofessional and rude in her communications. She did not handle the closing process well by asking us to sign a document at the last minute and then blaming us for a delay instead of apologizing.
Documents were requested again well after I had loaded them on the Portal. For an in-house Re-fi I thought the process took too long and the underwriters were asking for documents that were irrelevant.
