It appears that the team has my best interest at heart. I did move from owing 230,000 @ 2.5% to owing 290,000 @ 6% by using only 38,000 of equity. I am no expert with closing costs however, I think something was related to shoring up my escrow.

Absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Had damage on house due to a fallen tree in May of 2023. Here we are now in August 2023 and we still have no resolution with PennyMac. Was told they do not have email (this is 2023,get with the times), attempted to fax and mail documents on multiple occasions that have not been received. After verifying multiple times that the address and fax number are correct, we are getting no where. If they haven’t received my documents, how are the going to receive my check to endorse? Just right off the bat, stay far away from PENNYMAC loans! They just hiked my monthly payment up $100/month for insurance rates and taxes going up $490 more this year and just states that they have to get the money back from last year as well! Run from this company, as far as you can!

have had my account with them for the last 3 years. voice system says its being updated and had said the same for the last year. you would think someone would notice. its not like they don't have the money to fix it. Its just makes getting them their payment so much harder.
