Great people to talk to they where quick got me refi no time at all
Ms. Sharyl Freeby did a respectable job, however, the PennyMac underwriting/closing systems are very broken. This is my 6th home purchase over the last 35+ years and the worst transaction ever. It took way too long and I was asked to provide the same information over and over again. In fact, ON THE SAME DAY - I received one request for information at 5:17PM and at 5:24PM I got another request! Ultimately, I was forced to reach out Lara Leighton, a VP to intercede. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Nathan was extremely helpful along the journey of closing our refinance. Things ended up taking much longer than we thought, but he kept us in the loop the whole time and always let us know what was happening. I greatly appreciate all of his help through the process.
Good people timely responce
I felt like the process took an incredibly long time. Started July 25 and was supposed to close around Sept 9. Lock rate had to be extended 3 weeks and finally closed October 10th. I appreciated the loan agents help but felt I was always having to track her down for updates and she never had any additional information for me. The lack of timeliness and failure to keep me informed are reasons I would not recommend PennyMac. My closing was also poorly handled. Overall a disappointing experience.
My experience with PennyMac during refinancing was excellent.
I was very open about the process. It involves way too many people - Ceasar, Maribel, Francesca, Erica and another lady. This is not to mention the fact that multiple people tried to reach me to start the process after I had already started with Ceasar - I had to ask him to tag my account assigned. While I understand the low interest rates are driving a high volume of work for you, the fact that you have too many parties involved on a single account does not help. Confusing for everyone.
Very respomsive wit with clear communication and quick follow up.
Everyone has been so helpful in this process. The team has been communicative, insightful, and patient. The knowledge of each team member is remarkable; I had some very difficult questions being in finance myself, but all of my questions were thoroughly and clearly answered.
