The experience was great because it was simply explained just as it is listed in the advertising, every PennyMac representative had my feelings and not just my mortgage in mind.
Monica was FANTASTIC! I wish I could give her a higher rating. She responded to all my call and was able to answer all of my questions. She did a great job. Honestly if it wasn’t for her, I would of cancelled and went somewhere else. This was my second try at refinancing through penny Mac, the first one didn’t go through and was cancelled by penny Mac for some reason. I still don’t know why it was. Mona was absolutely great. I asked A LOT of questions and she was able to answer them all for me

Anxious about refinancing our home, we were amazed at how easy PennyMac made everything. Every person on the team, from the first phone call to the final congratulations, kept us informed about every aspect of the process. We are very pleased with and grateful to PennyMac for providing a spectacular refinance experience. It began with a Saturday morning web inquiry. Two hours later, a PennyMac team member was talking me through the official start and 3 weeks later done. Rate -1.25% Outstanding!
The loan process took over a month longer than expected. I received several emails indicating I needed to take action regarding documents when in fact I had already done everything required. I received multiple (about 6) payoff demand statements in the mail. I was not paying flood insurance for the loan I refinanced (also a Pennymac loan), and I disagree with the requirement to purchase flood insurance for the refinance. I was notified very late in the process that flood insurance was needed.
Very helpful. I was impressed how they were with me every step of the way. As a Veteran it's nice to have an establishment that actually cares and shows it.
