No explanation of the closing costs before hand. Loan included $2,000 coming back to us which we didn’t ask for or know about until we went to sign the closing documents. Closing date was 3 months after we applied. Had to upload pay statements 3 times. Closing costs were too high.

The entire refinance process was without issue and every employee was such a pleasure to work with. Each one engaged me as if I were their only client and treated me not only professionally, but also with kindness and care. I highly recommend PennyMac- the whole process couldn’t have gone better! The documents were accurate and the notary was great!

The customer service was great. However, I wasn't thrilled with how long it took to close. I believe we started June/July & didn't close until October. Theurty was wonderful at always calling me back promptly to let me know they were working on it & keeping in touch with me about items needed. He did a wonderful job.

More communication throughout the process. I did not hear anything for two weeks regarding the application. I had emailed two times and never received a response back. Very disappointed in the communication, but impressed with how quickly and easy the refinance was.
