I just did refinance with pennymac. It took about 70 days. the lock was for 60 days so they extended the lock. the only issue i had was I didn't get clear answer from loan officer. It was hard to get hold of him. also, they kept asking for bank statement every day even thought I just sent it to them. However, working with Jazmyne (loan specialist) was great. She was very prompt in answering my question. i'll use pennymac again next time but I will also have a backup plan just in case.
I like the whole process from very beginning to the end, especially the upload documents function. Especially, Glen,and PennyMac team, keeps me posted, either by phone or by email, every week for the status of my application.
