Communication wasn't timely. I had to call and follow up too often. Closing documents were incorrect and had to be changed. That said Gina was a pleasant person and her personality made me not totally lose it.
It was easy
I realize it is busy because of the rates, but it seemed like PennyMac needs more staff to deal with the demand.

There was a lot of miscommunications. Documents required that needed not be. The process took forever even though my past loan was with PennyMac. I had a great credit score as well as on time payments always to Penny MAC in the past. I felt like I was put through hoops. Anyway Brandon did his best to make it less frustrating for me. I’m happy it’s over n I’m grateful I qualified for my new rate.
Christine has been great for keeping me informed and taken care of. It's my first time re-financing my mortgage, and she was there every step of the way to ensure I submitted the right documents and feel confident about the entire transition. I really appreciate everything Christine has done for me, and I am very happy with my experience with PennyMac, thanks to Christine!
Working with Katelyn Shea was a pleasure from the first day. Her personality let me know that she cared about my comfort level of understanding every step of the refinance process. She would set dates for our follow-up's and was always on time. Her professional knowledge of the finance world cleared up any question that I had.
