Everything with the loan was going well until the signing. There was confusion and not clear expectations for signing. We had to reschedule signing, and the documents were not ready for the notary until the day of signing. If the notary did not stay on top of trying to get the documents, we would have had to reschedule again.
Great experience, almost called another company to do my re-finance at a lower rate, I am so happy that I call PennyMac before making my decision.
The entire process, from Royal Cameron in the beginning to Bridget Mangassarian at the end, was seamless. They communicated well and they communicated often. Well done!!!!
Loan terms were promised, then pulled back. I was told I would get a $1500 credit toward closing costs, but at the final disclosure was told that was no longer the case - I would not get it and that I should not be concerned with that small amount because it only meant $3-$5 additional dollars a month to me. I explained that over the term of the loan that it was alot, but I was told this was how it was and if I didn't like it I could choose not to do the loan.
