Our whole experience with penny Mac was more then unsatisfactory. Benjamin was always very vague and never communicated with us what he needed and/or was waiting on. Our closing date change multiple times resulting in my husband and I need to take off work, move deliveries set to arrive at our new home. Benjamin seemed to have no clue what was going on with the whole process. A few days before our 3rd closing date he quit working for the company. So much more needs to be said on how bad it was.

Could have done a better job making sure they had all documents they needed. Ended up having to reschedule our closing last minute bc of this, but we were still able to close a week later so it was ok just a little frustrating.

Have the documents correct the first time, not the 4th time. Close on the originally scheduled closing date.

Overall I am happy to continue to be working with PennyMac over the years as loan agent. I recently refinanced my VA loan and was able to get a really low rate of 2.25%! The process was simple and stress free, it took a little time and some explanation but at the end it was all worth it!
