Hermes is a great guy and you should keep him in customer-facing positions. He was honest on the process backup and very helpful. I would work with Hermes again. PennyMac, however, seems to be a mess. Sure, rona and the low rates caused a perfect storm of lots of customers that were hard to serve. What I don't understand is why my refi (simple, no cash out) had to take so long. You're the lender! You're just changing a rate but you can't get out of your own way. You requested all....
