loan process more expedient and better communication
Prompt, courteous service. Could not have been easier.
Everything went fine until closing. There was not clear communication between PennyMac and the Title company or my realtor as far as this was concerned. I never got an answer as to why my closing date changed/got delayed. Then, at closing, wrong documentation was sent and I ended up having to sign everything twice. Not good.....

Barbara Bellamy was incredibly helpful and patient in all of my questions and worked diligently to adjust the loan in such a way that we could afford the closing costs, after the initial closing disclosure included more than 4.5x the cash-to-close that we were promised by our previous loan officer. While the process didn't go as smoothly as I would like, once Barbara was handling it, I immediately felt more confident that it would be resolved successfully, and she sent frequent status updates.

Everything was done online and there were no glitches. We were led by the team step-by-step and was updated throughout the process. Once everything was done, they sent a Notary to our house to sign the documents. The entire process was painless and relatively quick. Thank you!
