Refinancing with PennyMac was a fairly pain free experience that provided me with a better loan arrangement that also saved me money. Almost every step was done digitally and I was able to get a hold of someone within an hour at each step of the process. I would recommend them to just about everyone.

It was very nice to be able to talk to the same representative about the loan process. I was a little surprised about how long the loan took and that it cost me so much to close on a loan with the same company that I had my original loan from. But other than that I was happy with Kami and the process.

While I realize that this is a difficult time because of COVID-19, I do feel the whole process was extremely dragged out. The requests for documents were confusing to a person who is really not great with uploading documents on the computer.. Things got much better when Brent Kapaun was assigned to my account. He kept in touch with me on a regular basis and was very professional and helpful. The appraiser and notary were also excellent.

Although it took a very long time to get to talk with someone and to get the refinance started after that it was smooth as can be.

I was not told that the APR was 2.82 I was under the impression that my loan was at 2.62 when in actuality it was 2.82
