My refinance journey started with my loan rep Jason P. that gave me my quote. I felt like he was very upfront, thorough, and knowledgeable about the entire refinance process. He worked hard to earn my business. Once I agreed to the terms the PennyMac Team walked me through the paperwork I needed. There were slight delays, but only a few days which felt like weeks. It was a long processed but once all of the documents were processed by the under writer, then the closing process was smooth. The expectation for a quick process was not expected due to the high volume of loans being process but streamline should of taken days instead of months. Overall, it was a great experience and the representatives were all professional in handling the requirements needed to close smoothly. Highly recommended.
Even though covid 19 had every chance to make things difficult, Pennymac was ready to meet the needs of this customer cheerfully and accurately. God Bless and thanks to all involved.

Communication was awful. The company knew we wanted and were prepared for early closing, but seemed to purposely string us along for weeks. We felt like we were guiding the company instead of them assuming their proper role.
