Macy was awesome in all her help during our refinancing of our mortgage. She answered all of our questions and went the extra mile to make sure everything went good. I highly recommend PennyMac for loan needs and a lot of this is because of how Macy Brown made this such a positive experience in every way.

To be clear: Kami is a star. She ALWAYS called me back. She was ALWAYS clear in her communication. Kami is #1 in my book. However, the process -- which was supposed to be fast-tracked -- was endlessly delayed. The only reason that I stayed with PennyMac was because I was assured that it would be a simplified, fast process -- because I have been a customer for years. Unfortunately, the process has been chronically delayed. Not sure that I will seek my next mortgage with you as a result.
I am a Pennymac customer who was refinancing a loan at a lower rate. The loan approval process was straight forward and requests for duplicate documents happened only a couple times. However, when we were handed over to the loan processor, Michael Felton, he proved to be completely incompetent. We were supposed to sign 7/16 and the actual date we finally got the loan signed was 8/22 and only after I called the escrow company directly to schedule. Michael was useless.
Overall I was happy with the service as the end result was what my wife and I were hoping for which was to lower our monthly payment. During the process I felt Molly wasn’t being given very clear answers from the underwriting team as she was unable to give me a true time frame. I was told at the start of the process should only take around 30 days and it ended up being a little over 2 months. The updates were vague and not helpful but Molly would call me back if I left a voicemail and explain.
Ask the people that did my refinance...It should be well documented
Macy was great as well in the beginning. Monique took over and helped tremendously. I was not stressed out throughout the process. Monique is a very good communicator, and very professional. She was there throughout whenever I needed. Monique thank you very much, all the best!
