I would it like better communication with the loan officer and it would it been nice to know right away when the first loan officer stopped working on our loan. Not making us wait and leave us out of it and not hear from you guys for couple weeks.
Over all it was an okay experience. I think timing for calls is important. I'm on the east coast. I would receive calls at 9pm when I'm getting ready for bed. It was important for me to here about loan so I would take call. Also my loan documents were good numbers I was happy with. But it was changed several times and I wasn't notified why and when I asked no one seemed sure why. And the closing disclosures were wrong and needed to be updated. No one let me know that they were updated.

The team at PennyMac was great and made the refinance process effortless.
Communication. Although, our Loan Officer was always pleasant and professional in our dealings with her. It was very frustrating not to be able to reach her along the way as I have with all my other loans with local banks. Paperwork: Very time consuming to scan and send all the documents needed, including a 27 page trust. Final signing: 11:00a.m. appt. ended up being 11:00 p.m - Paperwork didn't get to title company until that afternoon even though appt. was scheduled and confirmed earlier.
Communication. I never was able to get hold of Mariely. Our closing was postponed twice and we weren't made aware each time. We had to call several times (10+) to get a hold of Mariely. I even left a voicemail for Mariely's boss and am yet to hear back. We should have been done closing our loan 2 weeks ago and until we got Mariely the process was smooth. Not sure what happened all of a sudden. We as customers were quick to respond but Mariely made false promises and never kept up to her word.
